Job Summary**
The Strategic Sourcing Leader MI will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for materials and services related to Molecular Imaging (MR) and Radio Pharmacy (RP) in GE Precision Healthcare LLC. This role involves driving cost reduction initiatives, ensuring supplier quality and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
Job Responsibilities**
•Develop, implement, and manage strategic sourcing initiatives for MI/RP components, sub-assemblies, and related services, aligning with overall business goals and product roadmaps.
•Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes, ensuring optimal terms, pricing, and quality while mitigating supply chain risks.
•Drive cost reduction projects through value engineering, supplier rationalization, and demand management, achieving annual savings targets.
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement in performance, quality, and delivery.
•Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and supplier capabilities within the industry to identify new opportunities and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
•Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management teams to understand technical requirements, ensure supplier compliance, and facilitate new product introductions.
•Manage supplier performance through regular business reviews, scorecards, and corrective action plans, addressing any quality, delivery, or cost issues.
•Develop and implement supply chain resilience strategies, including risk assessment, mitigation plans, and alternative sourcing options.
•Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all sourcing activities.
•Maintain on a regular basis supplier data in the systems
Job Qualifications**
•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
•Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
•Demonstrated experience in sourcing complex electro-mechanical components, sub-assemblies, or systems, preferably within the medical device or high-tech manufacturing industry.
•Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and favorable contract terms.
•Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, supplier relationship management, and global sourcing strategies.
•Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and supply chain analytics tools.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
•Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms.
