Job description

Streaming TV is no longer just a brand awareness channel. It’s becoming a core part of the performance marketing mix, alongside search and social. Vibe.co http://Vibe.co is building the platform that makes TV work like the rest of the acquisition stack: targeted, measurable, and optimized for results.

Vibe.co http://Vibe.co is an Audience First Streaming TV Advertising platform that gives marketers the tools to reach the right audiences, optimize campaigns in real time, and understand what’s actually driving business outcomes. With hyper-targeted segmentation, AI-powered recommendations, real-time optimization, and incrementality measurement, Vibe brings the precision and accountability of digital advertising to the biggest screen in the house.

Today, more than 12,000 brands use Vibe.co http://Vibe.co to reach 120 million+ households. And in August 2026, Vibe.co http://Vibe.co became a Walmart company, opening up a new chapter for the business and the industry. With Walmart’s first-party data and purchase signals now part of the Vibe platform, advertisers can connect TV advertising to real-world transactions and measure the impact of CTV with a level of precision previously associated with platforms like Google and Meta.

This is a unique moment to join Vibe. With Walmart’s scale, data, and reach behind us, we’re building the next generation of TV advertising and creating a more measurable, performance-driven future for the channel.

STAFF FULL STACK ENGINEERS: FRONTEND & BACKEND FOCUSED

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll join the team behind everything advertisers touch in Vibe: campaign setup, reporting, creatives, integrations, payments, and account management. The product has grown fast. We’re adding two senior engineers, one Senior Frontend Engineer (Architecture & Design Systems) and one Senior Backend Engineer (APIs, Data & Reliability), to keep shipping at speed without dropping the bar on quality or reliability. You’ll report to [Manager Name], [Title]. Three reasons to join: you’ll ship product advertisers use every day, you’ll work in a high-ownership, low-process team that uses AI-assisted development workflows, and you’ll raise the bar for the whole team through code review and mentoring. Tell us which role you’re applying for, Frontend or Backend. Open to both? Say so, and we’ll talk it through.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Senior Frontend Engineer, Architecture & Design Systems

Your mission: give the frontend the structure it needs for the next phase of growth, and set the standards the team builds on.

•Define the state management and component architecture for the advertiser-facing frontend
•Set coding standards with clear boundaries between UI, business logic, state, and data fetching
•Raise the maintainability, testability, and performance of the codebase
•Drive design system adoption by building reusable components
•Turn Figma designs into production-ready experiences alongside designers
•Test AI-assisted design-to-code workflows to speed up delivery
•Mentor engineers on frontend best practices through code review

Senior Backend Engineer, APIs, Data & Reliability

Your mission: own the services and data behind advertiser workflows, and keep them fast, correct, and reliable.

•Design scalable APIs for campaign setup, reporting, and creatives management
•Design PostgreSQL schemas that keep campaign data clean and queryable
•Own initiatives from ambiguous requirement to production
•Break initiatives into technical plans and milestones with PMs and engineers
•Instrument every feature with monitoring, logging, and alerting before launch
•Debug production issues, leading incident response through to the postmortem
•Raise the team’s testing standards through rigorous code review
•Improve developer experience so the team ships faster

WHAT YOU NEED

Senior Frontend Engineer

•Advanced TypeScript and React experience (Next.js is a plus)
•Defined or significantly improved the architecture of an existing frontend codebase
•Solved state management at scale: local, shared, server, and URL
•Built, integrated, or maintained a design system
•Introduced standards that other engineers adopted
•Worked across the stack, including APIs and data models

Senior Backend Engineer

•Built production backend services and APIs (TypeScript/Node is a plus)
•Strong PostgreSQL and data modeling skills
•Strong fundamentals in API design and system architecture
•Owned production systems: monitoring, debugging, incident response
•Owned projects end to end, through long-term maintenance
•Worked in React/Next.js on the frontend when the project called for it

NICE TO HAVES

Senior Frontend Engineer

•Modernized a legacy or fast-growing frontend
•Figma-to-code workflow experience
•Used AI-assisted development or design-to-code tools

Senior Backend Engineer

•Background in CTV, streaming TV advertising, campaign management, or customer-facing SaaS
•Applied Domain-Driven Design and Test-Driven Development
•Built AI-powered products

OUR VALUES

At Vibe, we run on three values: Impact, Ambition, and Urgency. We tie every goal to a real business outcome, think 10x rather than settling for good enough, and move daily rather than waiting for perfect conditions.

You'll thrive here if you own outcomes without needing direction, default to action, and hold yourself to results, not effort.

This is a high-performance environment with high-performance rewards: you'll work alongside people who push you, with real ownership over hard problems in a market that's moving fast.

If that sounds like the best version of your career, we want to meet you.

WHAT WE OFFER

The pay range for this role is €99,000 - €133,000. We will support relocation to Paris for great candidates.

At Vibe, we want you to build something, own something, and grow fast. Here's how we back that up:

•Equity — Employee Stock Ownership Plan. You're building this; you should own part of it.
•Variable pay — Based on real Vibe business goals.
•Hybrid flexibility — We're in the Heart of Paris and our team is in 3x a week!
•Health insurance — Full coverage via Alan.
•Meal vouchers — Via Swile.
•Annual offsite — The whole team, once a year, somewhere worth the trip.
•Tech Syncs — Engineering and Product meet in person at least quarterly, worldwide.

OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS

We respect your time. Here's exactly what to expect — no surprises, no ghosting.

1. Recruiter screen — 30 min. We'll share context; you'll share yours.

2. Manager interview — Meet the person you'd work with directly.

3. Team Interview — Meet the team members you'd work with directly.

4. Technical Interview — A real problem, not a trick. We'll work through it together.

5. Calibration interview — A senior leader joins to ensure we're holding a consistent, high bar.

6. Offer — Fast. We don't let good decisions sit.

7. Reference checks — Two calls, handled with discretion.
