About the Role
Help shape the future of Avast’s digital protection experience freemium experience. As a Senior Product Designer at Gen, you’ll design how people discover Avast, get value from our free products and choose to upgrade to paid protection—creating experiences that earn their trust and keep them coming back.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end product design role, combining strong UX thinking with excellent visual and UI craft. You’ll take work from discovery and research through to polished, shipped experiences across mobile, desktop and web, with a clear focus on acquisition, conversion and retention.
We’re looking for someone who has designed and shipped mobile-first consumer products at scale, with a portfolio showing what you personally owned, the decisions you made and the impact your work delivered.
You’ll also help shape AI-powered experiences that make digital protection simpler, more useful and more personal. Working closely with product, research and engineering, you’ll influence design direction while staying close to the detail of the work.
About the Team:
Gen's Global Product Design team is a diverse, distributed group working across London, Prague, Dublin and the US. The global team designs across cybersecurity, identity protection, privacy and financial wellness, with a strong focus on AI-enabled experiences and reimagining key user journeys. This role sits within the cyber safety pillar, working primarily on Avast and its freemium ecosystem, while staying closely connected to the wider design community across Gen's brands.
