The global team focuses on core infrastructure supporting Application Delivery across Morgan Stanley. This includes support for a multi-vendor Load Balancer environment that provides services to internal and external clients. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities You will work within a global "follow-the-sun" operations model responsible for the technologies in respective regions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
•Supporting a high number of devices and application flows in an enterprise environment, delivering cloud-like experiences for development environments.
•Using advanced network tools to troubleshoot:
•Network connectivity issues
•Fault analysis
•Failure avoidance
•Diagnosis and resolution of functionality-impacting issues in distributed systems environments
•Working with an in-house application management system designed to simplify deployment and management of application delivery components.
•Managing services over the network through a GUI-based console.
•Addressing L2 escalations.
•Process improvement, automation, and scripting.
•Writing technical documentation.
•Collaborating with global SMEs using tools such as:
•Jive
•Twiki
•SharePoint
