ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Business Development Lead at SkyNRG, you’ll build and grow partnerships with large corporate customers looking to address the emissions associated with their business travel and air freight.

You’ll be responsible for developing new customer relationships and growing existing ones, from understanding a company’s sustainability goals and business needs to shaping proposals, negotiating agreements and closing deals. Working with senior decision makers and colleagues across SkyNRG, you’ll help customers understand how SAF certificates (SAFc) can form part of their approach to reducing aviation-related emissions.

This is a senior commercial role for someone who enjoys building relationships, navigating complex sales processes and turning customer interest into long-term partnerships. You’ll combine strategic account development with a hands-on approach to progressing opportunities and delivering commercial results.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES

•Win new strategic customers and grow existing partnerships.

•Build relationships with senior stakeholders and guide them through their SAF journey.

•Lead commercial opportunities from first conversation through to signed agreement, nurturing the relationship at every stage and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

•Develop account and engagement plans for high-priority customers and partners.

•Create new opportunities through networking, outreach, events, and referrals.

•Share customer and market insights to help continuously improve our commercial approach and propositions.

•Management of industry initiatives and client-facing campaigns.

•Work closely with colleagues across SkyNRG to ensure customers receive a seamless experience.

YOUR PROFILE

We're looking for someone who is commercially sharp, curious by nature, and motivated by helping organisations make meaningful progress towards their sustainability goals.

MUST-HAVES

•8+ years of experience in a consultative B2B business development, sales, or commercial role, preferably within SAF, energy, carbon, or similarly complex or emerging markets.

•A proven track record of developing new business and converting strategic opportunities into commercial partnerships.

•Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

•Experience leading complex commercial discussions and contract negotiations involving multiple stakeholders.

•Strong commercial judgment and the ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.

•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

•Experience working with CRM systems and data-driven business development processes.

•The ability and motivation to quickly build expertise in SAF, SAF certificates, and the evolving regulatory landscape.

•A continuous improvement mindset, and willingness to act as an ambassador for SkyNRG and its values: Driven, Genuine, Change-maker

NICE-TO-HAVES

•Experience in SAF, aviation, carbon markets or related sectors.

•Experience working in a scale-up or fast-growing business.

•Experience with HubSpot.

•A relevant professional network that can help open doors and create opportunities.
