Job description
Careers that change lives start here. Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology with a Mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Our 95,000 employees work across more than 150 countries to put patients first — developing innovative medical technologies that improve the lives of 72 million patients each year. Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.
A Day in the Life
CathWorks, recently acquired by Medtronic, is a leader in digital health innovation. The CathWorks FFRangio® System combines artificial intelligence (AI) and computational science to derive physiologic information from routine angiograms (X-rays), eliminating the need for drug stimulation and invasive pressure wires. We are looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer to contribute across Scrum teams and help ensure software quality, reliability, and safety throughout the development lifecycle.
We are looking for a Product Security Engineer to own the cybersecurity of the CathWorks platform medical device, including its OS, clinical applications, hardened environment and custom UI shell, from design through post-market. You will be the technical authority for security across the product lifecycle: architecture, secure development, hardening, verification, regulatory documentation, and post-market vulnerability management.
CathWorks platform runs in the Cath lab, alongside imaging systems and hospital networks, and handles sensitive patient imaging data. Security here is a patient-safety matter as well as a regulatory requirement, and this role sits at the intersection of software development, engineering, quality, and regulatory affairs.
This position is based in Kfar Saba, Israel and follows an onsite work model. The role partners closely with Software Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Product teams to embed cybersecurity into product design, development, verification, deployment, and maintenance. As the Product Security Engineer, you will serve as the cybersecurity owner for the CathWorks platform and software products. You will define and maintain product security architecture, drive secure development practices, oversee security validation activities, and support global regulatory and post-market cybersecurity requirements for medical device products deployed in clinical environments.
