About SkyNRG and Project Wigeon
Since 2009, SkyNRG has been a global leader in Sustainable Aviation Fuels. The company is dedicated to increasing SAF demand and production capacity for the industry to meet its 2050 net zero commitment. SkyNRG has supplied SAF to over 40+ airlines and 70+ corporates across the world and is now developing dedicated SAF production facilities to support the transition from fossil jet fuel to sustainable aviation fuel. SkyNRG does not compromise when it comes to sustainability; we are a globally recognized Certified B Corp™, our operations are certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), and we are advised by an independent Sustainability Board, as well as a worldwide NGO network, to ensure we make the right sustainability decisions across all our operations.
Collaboration is fundamental to achieving our ambition. We nurture genuine relationships with global partners in our drive to make SAF the alternative to fossil jet fuel. This will be our legacy for future generations.
At SkyNRG, you’ll find:
Project Wigeon is SkyNRG’s flagship U.S. Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) initiative, focused on building one of the country’s first commercial-scale facilities dedicated to producing sustainable aviation fuel from renewable natural gas. Located in Washington State, Project Wigeon leverages cutting-edge technology, strong regional partnerships, and SkyNRG’s global leadership in SAF development to accelerate the transition to cleaner air travel. As a contributor to the project, you’ll help shape an effort that supports climate goals and the long-term sustainability of aviation for SkyNRG in North America.
About the role
You’ll be a key member of the Project Wigeon team and the SkyNRG Deal team, focused on closing long-term commercial deals in support of Project Wigeon. Working at the intersection of commercial strategy, finance, legal, and technical teams, you will drive negotiations with major airlines, fuel suppliers, and corporates.
Your expertise in complex deal structuring, financial modelling, and contract negotiation will be essential in progressing projects from Heads of Terms (HoTs) to fully executed offtake agreements.
Your collaborative spirit will be crucial as you partner closely with colleagues across the Amsterdam-based Deal Team, Wigeon project team, legal counsel, and senior leadership, while acting as a trusted business partner to external stakeholders and clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Your profile

Ideally, you recognise yourself in the following:
Nice to have:
Location
This US based role is primarily a work-from-home position for applicants who are authorized to live and work in the United States. Eastern or Central time zone is preferred but Mountain or Pacific time is acceptable.
SkyNRG Americas maintains a small office in Bend, Oregon, but our US team works remotely from locations across the country. We've built a strong remote-first culture with excellent virtual collaboration tools and practices. While the role is predominantly remote, our team comes together periodically for in-person meetings and collaboration sessions. There will be some travel to the Bend office that will be expected of the individual, with additional business-related travel to Amsterdam and other relevant locations at the company's direction on a case-by-case basis.
Additional Requirements
We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.
Expected Compensation
The anticipated pay range and annual base salary for this position is $140,000 to $192,000, plus an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including years of experience.
Benefits
Studies have shown that women and members of minority groups are less likely to apply for a job unless they meet every single requirement. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
