The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Market Manager (Vietnam) and play a key role in driving business growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening strategic customer relationships across Vietnam. You will lead market development initiatives, shape go-to-market strategies, and collaborate with global and local teams to deliver innovative energy solutions that support the country's growing infrastructure needs.

How will you make an impact?

•Develop and execute market growth strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities in Vietnam.

•Identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights across Utility, Offshore, Transport, and Industrial sectors.

•Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

•Lead the full sales cycle, including business development, proposal preparation, commercial negotiation, and contract closure.

•Collaborate with engineering, product, and service teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

•Monitor market performance, sales forecasts, and key business metrics to drive sustainable growth.

•Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements to enhance brand awareness.

•Explore strategic partnerships and new business opportunities to accelerate market penetration and expansion.

Your Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.

•8 years of experience in business development, sales, market management, or commercial roles within the energy, industrial, or technology sectors.

•Proven track record of developing successful market strategies and achieving business growth in Vietnam.

•Strong understanding of the Vietnamese business environment, customer landscape, and regulatory framework.

•Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in both Vietnamese and English.

•Self-driven team player with strong leadership capabilities and willingness to travel as required.
