We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and manage the complete Indian accounting function. This role requires strong expertise in accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closures, and team management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting accuracy, strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and ensuring timely and compliant financial operations. You will also work closely with auditors, tax consultants, management, and internal stakeholders to support sound financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
โขLead and manage the complete Indian Accounting function and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
โขSupervise, train, mentor, and support accountants and senior accounting professionals.
โขReview bookkeeping activities, accounting entries, ledgers, and financial records for accuracy and completeness.
โขOversee bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
โขManage GST compliance , including return filing, reconciliations, documentation, and related matters.
โขOversee TDS calculations, payments, return filing, and reconciliations .
โขReview monthly and annual financial statements and support the finalization of accounts .
โขManage multi-currency accounting and inter-company transactions .
โขPrepare and review MIS reports, management reports, financial analysis, and accounting insights .
โขCoordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external financial professionals.
โขEstablish and strengthen accounting controls, SOPs, review processes, and compliance procedures .
โขIdentify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
โขEnsure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities .
โขHandle accounting-related escalations and provide guidance and solutions to the team.
โขSupport management with financial reporting, planning, analysis, and decision-making.
โขTake ownership of department performance, productivity, quality, compliance, and service delivery.
What's Makes You a Great Fit
โข4+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience , with strong exposure to Indian accounting operations.
โขProven experience leading or supervising an accounting team .
โขStrong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, reconciliations, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounts finalization .
โขExperience managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
โขStrong understanding of Indian accounting and statutory compliance requirements .
โขHands-on experience with multi-currency accounting and inter-company transactions .
