ABOUT SUPABASE

Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Builders now ask ChatGPT & Claude before they ask Google, and the answer decides which products make the shortlist. When someone asks about a backend as a service or a database, Supabase should be in that answer: named, cited, and recommended. You’ll own that channel and will be responsible with driving signups and revenue. You set the strategy and execute the work with content, growth product, and engineering.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

•Own the GEO/AEO strategy: decide which prompts matter, set targets, and sequence the roadmap

•Build measurement for a channel with messy attribution

•Run experiments to learn what actually moves citations, then turn the results into a playbook

•Work with the content team to decide the human and LLM content roadmap.

•Win citations from the ones used the most in pre training: Reddit, YouTube, review sites, listicles, publications, and communities

•Make the site readable for agents. Ship these changes with web and engineering

•Track where competitors get named and we don’t, and close those gaps

•Keep SEO fundamentals compounding, since they still feed AI retrieval

•Teach the rest of the company how to write and structure content so it gets cited, and share what you learn with PMM, product, and leadership

•Stay ahead of the market

YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU

•4+ years in SEO, organic growth, or content-led acquisition at a developer tool company

•1+ year of hands-on GEO/AEO work.

•A track record you can show: citations you won, AI referral traffic you grew, share of voice you moved, and how you measured it and connected it to revenue

•Technically fluent: crawling, indexing, structured data, site architecture, and log analysis. Comfortable getting changes shipped with engineers
