Closed-Door Part-Time & PRN Pharmacist (Fridays) | $65/hour

Want strong pay, a consistent Friday schedule, a closed-door pharmacy environment, and the opportunity to pick up additional PRN shifts? This role offers a guaranteed Friday shift starting at $65/hour, depending on experience, plus extra earning opportunities by providing coverage when teammates take time off. If you're interested in adding a second regular day, we'll work with your availability to make it happen.

What You’ll Do

Working with the Pharmacy Manager (PIC), you’ll help keep the pharmacy running safely and smoothly:

•Review and verify new patient orders

•Partner with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, effective drug therapy

•Counsel patients, families, and providers on medications

•Perform drug utilization reviews, checking appropriateness, duplication, dosing, adherence, and interactions

•Document clinical activity and communications in the pharmacy system

•Support inventory, ordering, and controlled substance recordkeeping

•Supervise technicians and support staff

•Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA

What You Bring

•BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

•Active, good-standing California pharmacist license (additional non-resident licenses are a plus)

•Strong clinical skills and pharmaceutical calculations

•Working knowledge of third-party claims processing and reimbursement

•Clear, professional communication with providers and patients

•Organization, attention to detail, and dependability

•Flexibility to pick up additional shifts

Physical Requirements

Regularly sitting, standing, and computer work. Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
