Reload Extension — Privacy Policy

Reload is a browser extension that helps you apply to jobs faster — it autofills application forms from your profile, tracks the jobs you apply to, and verifies real submissions so you earn credits on your Reload account (zeroxp.careers or lvl100.careers). This page explains exactly what data the extension touches and how it is used. Plain version: we use your data only to make you apply faster and to credit your real applies — we never sell it and never auto-submit anything on your behalf.
What the extension reads
- Job postings you view. On a job page you choose to capture, we read the posting (title, company, description, URL, and location/salary when present) so you can save it or attach it to your Reload pipeline.
- Application form fields. On an application form, we read the form’s field labels/structure so we can fill them from your profile. You review every field and submit the form yourself.
- Submission confirmation. On supported systems (Greenhouse, Lever), we detect the page that confirms your application was submitted, so we can mark that apply “verified” in your account.
We do not read, log, or transmit the content of pages unrelated to a job application, and we never read pages on your Reload domains (zeroxp.careers / lvl100.careers) via the content script.
What the extension stores
- Your sign-in session. After you log in, your Reload session tokens are stored locally on your device (
chrome.storage.local) so the extension can act as you. If you’re already signed in to your Reload account on zeroxp.careers or lvl100.careers, the extension connects automatically — the site hands it your session tokens, which stay on your device and are never sold. Tokens are never synced to other devices and never shared with third parties. Logging out or uninstalling removes them. - Local preferences. Your chosen brand and per-field autofill toggles, stored locally.
Your profile data (name, contact details, links) and your application history are stored in your Reload account, not in the extension — the extension reads them over an authenticated connection to fill forms and show your pipeline.
How your data is used
- Autofilling application forms from your profile.
- Saving and tracking the jobs you apply to.
- Verifying real submissions to award credits under your account’s earning model.
That’s the extension’s single purpose. Your data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used for any purpose unrelated to helping you apply and get credited.
Permissions, and why
- Access to websites you visit — so the generic autofill and job-capture features work on any careers site, not just a few. We only act when you use the extension on a page.
- Greenhouse & Lever — to autofill those application forms precisely and detect a confirmed submit for verification.
- zeroxp.careers & lvl100.careers — to complete the sign-in handshake and talk to your Reload account.
- Storage — to keep your session and preferences on your device.
What the extension never does
- Never submits an application without you clicking submit yourself.
- Never bulk-applies or auto-applies to jobs.
- Never sells or rents your data.
- Never reads your password (sign-in happens on the Reload website).
Third parties
The extension communicates only with your Reload backend and its authentication provider (Supabase) to sign you in and read/write your account data. It does not send your data to any other third party.
Your controls
- Turn off autofill for any individual field before filling.
- Log out from the extension popup to clear stored tokens.
- Uninstall the extension to remove all locally stored data.
- Manage the profile and application data in your account on zeroxp.careers / lvl100.careers.
